Compliance & Privacy
Businesses need confidence that a tool does not create privacy or compliance risk. Here is how TextsBert™ is designed.
Privacy for business
We understand how much your customers’ privacy matters — and how strict the law is. We guarantee ZERO RISK when using TextsBert. 100% of processes are locally processed on your computer.
GDPR / EU privacy
TextsBert is designed to support GDPR compliance and applicable EU/EEA privacy rules — including ePrivacy (cookies) and relevant national laws (e.g., Germany’s BDSG). Where external processing is required, we use appropriate contracts and safeguards (e.g., data-processing agreements and standard contractual clauses when needed).
On‑device by design
TextsBert™ runs locally in your browser. During filling, form content is not automatically transmitted to our servers.
Optional Workspaces & Sync (E2EE)
Sync is optional. If enabled, data is transmitted and stored end-to-end encrypted (E2EE) to synchronize across your devices or team members. Manual sync via export/import is always available in Settings.
Purpose‑limited permissions
A browser extension needs page access to fill fields. By default, TextsBert works only on the active tab ("on click"). Optionally, users can allow access on all sites for maximum reliability. You can change this anytime in Chrome.
No automatic submission
TextsBert™ never clicks submit automatically. You stay in control and decide what is actually transmitted.
Minimized data flows
We minimize data flows: no mandatory analytics in the core flow, no tracking in the fill process, and a clear separation between the website account (login/billing) and local fill logic.
Regulatory references (non‑exhaustive)
Our design aims for data minimization, purpose limitation, privacy by design, and appropriate security measures — for example as reflected in GDPR Art. 5, Art. 25, and Art. 32. Exact requirements depend on your specific use case.
Transparency & local deletion
Local storage and full control — deletable at any time. You can reset local extension data whenever you want.
Payments & emails
Payments are handled by a payment provider; we do not store full card details. We send transactional emails for account and billing events (e.g., verification, subscription start/cancel, payment failed).
Note: this is not legal advice. We provide transparent product information. For specific legal requirements in your environment, consult counsel if needed.
