1. Scope

These Terms apply to the use of our website, your account, and the TextsBert products (including the browser extension). Specific confirmations shown at checkout may apply in addition.

2. Account

• You register with email/password (or other methods we may provide).
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

3. Subscription & currencies

Fees depend on the selected plan (monthly/yearly). All prices, taxes, and currencies are shown at checkout.

4. Device / seat limits

Depending on your plan, device/seat limits apply. Additional devices/seats may be purchased if offered. Limits may be enforced by the product.

4b. Workspaces & optional Sync (E2EE)

If you enable optional Workspaces/Sync features, encrypted data may be transmitted over the internet and stored for synchronization across your devices or team members. We use end-to-end encryption (E2EE): we store encrypted blobs and cannot read the content. Keep your passphrase safe: we cannot recover it.

5. Trial, billing, and cancellations

Where offered, Pro includes a 14‑day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. You can cancel during the trial to avoid charges. After the trial (or if no trial is offered), recurring charges apply until you cancel. Refunds are generally not provided, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

6. Withdrawal (EU)

For digital content/services, your withdrawal right may end early if at checkout you explicitly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge the loss of the withdrawal right.

7. Intellectual property & trademarks

TextsBert™ is a Registered Trademark. Content, software, and design are protected by copyright and related rights.

8. Prohibited use

• No abuse, no reverse engineering, no bypassing of limits.
• No use for unlawful data processing.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. Otherwise, liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules remain unaffected.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the website applies. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice where required.

13. Severability

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
